Fantasy Football Fun Beyond Draft Day

There’s a lot of excitement on draft day. Most owners have done their homework and come ready to make the best selections for their team.

There’s some good-natured ribbing amongst owners regarding team names, past year performances, real NFL team expectations, draft order, and more. There’s food and drink, and with most having high expectations for the season ahead, everyone seems to have a great time.

How do you continue that festive interaction throughout the season?

Fantasy Football Fun Beyond Draft Day

Here’s a tool that we think can help. The Cranky Commissioner has launched a line of 30 fantasy football league award certificates.

The Commish or owners can award “Best Trash Talker,” “Disastrous Move,” “Worst Team Name,” or “Biggest Loser.” Sure, there are the traditional awards like “League Champion,” “Top Running Back,” and “Game of the Week.”

Fantasy football League award certificates

We found the most fun with awards that enabled us to razz our fellow owners. Each certificate template has some text fields that can be customized with words of your own choosing.

See 11 Funny Football Quotations.

Try the “Asleep at the Wheel” certificate as the headline, and then use the text fields to let your owner, who didn’t start the hottest tight end in the league, know that you think a child of 5 years old could do better. Half the fun is filling in the text fields and personalizing the message.

Handing Out The Awards

There are many options for distributing the certificates. You can attach them to a text or email, screen capture them and post them on Facebook, or print them out and award them in person. We plan on using the certificates as email attachments with our weekly round-up.

Award certificates include Tough Luck Award, Fantasy Football Champion, Top Running Back, Top Quarterback, Biggest Loser, Let’s Make a Deal, Best Waiver Wire Pick-up, Asleep at the Wheel, Pre-Game Taunt, Schmuck Award, Commissioner’s Update, Game of the Year, Game of the Week, Disastrous Move, League MVP, Upset of the Year, Worst Team Name, Skunk of the Week, Trash Talker Award and many more.

The Cranky Commissioner awards, sold individually for $5 or as a complete set for $20, will surely add fun to any fantasy football league. They’re available at Free Award Certificates.

The Coaching Benefits of Practice Plans

1.) Saves you time.

2.) Enables you to coach in the moment. You don't have to think about what to do next — it's already listed out for you.

3.) Work with a proven system. Our authors are coaches who have been there and done that. They know what works, the best order to teach skills and what doesn't work.

4.) Your players get better quicker. It's all about player development, but it's kind of fun to win a lot!

5.) Leap ahead on the learning curve. It took John Wooden over 10 years to produce his first champion.

Fortune favors the prepared. Find out more about sports practice plans for baseball, basketball, soccer and softball.

What Folks are Saying

“I coach 5th and 6th grade basketball and after winning only 3 games the previous 2 years combined, I began using your structured practice plans each week and now we are now one game away from the league championship!”

“Your basketball practice plans are fantastic! Many youth coaches are pressed for time and these organized practice plans help me to run an efficient practice with little preparation time needed. Not only are the plans efficient for coaches, but the drills have paid dividends for our players. I really appreciate the work put into these.”
